Jiyugaoka International School's academic calendar is based on the compulsory educational system of Japan, with three terms beginning in April and ending in March of the following year. The program and curriculum for each class is based on the premise of a 42-week, 5-day-a-week full-day program. New students are encouraged to enroll or transfer at the beginning of each semester, but we will also accept students in the middle of a semester provided seats are available. The enrollment process is as follows:
1. Make an appointment | Please call Safari Kids to make an appointment to visit the school with your child. |

2. School Tour and Class Participation | We will show you our school facility and classrooms, and explain in detail our program, curriculum, tuition, and school calendar, as well as our school policy and rules. If your child is over 2 years old, she/he will be placed in an appropriate level class and will be able to participate in Circle Time and Language Arts by Zoo-phonics, and Snack Time until 11:00 a.m. You will also be able to observe or participate with your child. We may ask you your thoughts about your child's education and discipline at home. |
3. Submit the Application Form | Please fill in the Application Form and submit to the school. Upon receipt of your child's application form, a temporary reservation will be made. Please request an Application Form from our school administrator. |
4. Complete Registration | After receiving the admission to enter Safari Kids International School, you will proceed with enrollment. Acceptance of enrollment will be confirmed upon receipt of the registration payment. |
